 Full Time – Permanent Position  

Following the retirement of our long standing and experienced EYFS Reception Class teacher, we wish to appoint a new leader for our EYFS with teaching responsibility in Reception Class.

The successful applicant will be joining a well resourced and supportive Academy Community. You will be based in Reception Class and will work in collaboration with our Nursery team to ensure positive outcomes for all pupils within our Early Years Phase. We are looking for an excellent teacher with a passion and desire to ensure exciting and engaging provision for children. If you have experience in Early Years and wish to join us, we look forward to hearing from you!

 We appreciate that you cannot come and visit us to see us in action, during these unprecedented times, however we can arrange a google meet for you to have a virtual tour of our Academy and Nursery and answer any questions you may have. 

With a flexible approach, you will:-

  • Be an excellent classroom practitioner.
  • Enjoy teaching and enabling children to fulfil their full potential.
  • Be committed to making a positive contribution to the strong Catholic Ethos of our Academy.
  • Work in partnership with the EYFS team, all staff, parents, carers, external professionals and governors.

We can offer you happy, motivated children who are eager to learn and enjoy coming to school. We have extensive grounds and a dedicated EYFS outdoor area with scope for further development by the post holder and EYFS team. We have a skilled and supportive team of staff, offer wider professional development experiences and the opportunity to work in a progressive secure Academy. We are part of St Francis and St Clare Catholic Multi Academy Company, and have secure collaborative practice across the company to enable a wide range of support and professional development. You will be based at SS. Mary and John’s Catholic Primary Academy for this post and the post is permanent.  Our teachers are employed under the terms and conditions for Teachers and we continue to be part of the Teacher’s Pension Agency.
